Here, vast fields stretch in every shade of green: with one glance, you'll discover how happy the typical free-grazing cows of the islands are. Expect lagoons in extinct volcanoes and unique thermal pools with hot springs from the depths of the earth. With the warmth of geothermal waters, the traditional cozido is cooked for seven hours underground in Furnas on São Miguel. The taste of fresh products here is incredible: the typical small and very sweet pineapples; the oldest tea plantation in Europe; some of the most delicious cheeses and fish. São Miguel treasures a family-run liqueur distillery.

As we sail between the islands of the Azores archipelago, we will experience the healing effect of the sounds dolphins make. The waters around these shores are ideal for whale and dolphin watching.
